Ian Pooley is the guest for Episode 38 of the Dogcast. It’s a well-used cliché, but Ian Pooley really needs no introduction. A pioneer in the German – then world – club scene, his CV is the envy of almost every house music artist. He’s had the big records (‘Celtic Cross’ and ‘Chord Memory’), remixed the big artists (Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar and The Cardigans), worked with the best labels (NRK, Definitive and Ovum), been supported by the most respected DJs (Dave Clarke, Justin Robertson and Terry Farley), done the high profile mixes (Radio 1 Essential Mix, Nite:Life and Excursions) and established his own label (Pooled Music). A whole page wouldn’t be enough to do Ian Pooley justice, never mind just one paragraph! Strakes Mix:

Giom joins us on the Dogcast for an exclusive 30 minute guest mix. This episode includes music from Kerri Chandler, Art Of Tones, Joshua Iz, Yse, Maya Jane Coles, Vernon & DaCosta, Tony Lionni and more. Giom, originally from Niort in France, has been one of the most exciting artists in the deep house genre over the past couple of years. He has collaborated with, and remixed, artists including Fred Everything, JT Donaldson and LawnChair Generals, as well as releasing his original music for Amenti, Ornate and DJ Heather’s Blackcherry. His infectious blend of deep, funky and fun house has made him one of the most in demand producers and remixers right now. Giom’s relationship with Lost My Dog began at the Sonar festival in 2009 after a chance encounter at the LMD terrace party. Everyone hit it off and the Frenchman was soon remixing Bang Bang and Bleep District, before penning his own ‘Things U Do EP’, which hit the top 10 charts of Beatport, Stompy and Traxsource. His ‘Unreleased Remixes’ was released in early 2011 to similar success. Strakes Mix:
